Never heard of The Nicks. Razz

I have a feeling Emerton wont do amazing - but still okay. Kewell will do well before he gets injured. Razz

Roar will be fourth. Wellington second.

For a Melbourne fan(I think), that is surprising to hear. Both GKs from the match we terrific. One of them had to be MOTM.

Nah, don't like Melbourne. Don't exactly support an A-League team (though I like some more than others). Just watch the games. Razz

Expecting the Gold Coast or Newcastle to come last, both without outstanding players at the moment.

Wellington, Heart, Newcastle and Gold Coast's defence were the worst of the round, for me. So... One of those for bottom.

There were a lot of disappointments from the Heart back 4 but expect it to strengthen up over the season as Colosimo comes back from injury. Heart will make the finals.

I predict Wellington for the "spoon"

Hmm... Heart are good up front, I'm still not convinced about them in defence, even with Colosimo back. Newcastle were lucky to come away with the win. TBH, Newcastle will in the bottom 3, I reckon. Adelaide won't be as strong as last year. Victory and Sydney both look pretty good, as well as Brisbane, probably CCM, too. Wellington will be mid - bottom of the table, I think, because of all the injuries they have. Gold Coast probably mid-bottom, as well, for me.

But, we can't really make very many judgements yet. We've only seen 1 round.

Because Kewell is Victory's only player. Neutral

Come on, get over him. Victory isn't a 1-man team.

Brisbane easily clear on top. Can't see anyone stopping them, but it's only 5 rounds in.

Roar drew 1-1 with the Phoenix today. Wellington defended well, but Brisbane missed some easy chances.

How the **** did United not win last night, created so many chances, they need much better strikers.

It's Perth and Brisbane in the final!

Perth beat Central Coast in a preliminary final earlier tonight in a penalty shoot-out. Kwasnik scored in the 33rd min to give CCM the lead, before Smeltz equalised just after. Central Coast had the better of the game's chances but couldn't put them away and after 120 minutes it was still 1-1. Perth had the better of the composure in the penalty shoot-out as the only miss was when Mcglinchey popped it over from the spot. 5-3, Perth won the shoot-out.

I feel a bit sorry for CCM. Dominated the majority of the season but couldn't produce in the finals. Brilliant for Perth though, massive result. TBH, I think the final could easily go either way.
