Libya crisis: 'Race against time'

An international summit on Libya is under way in Qatar, with delegates hearing there is a "race against time" to help Libyan civilians.

Qatar's crown prince said that every day that passed meant more victims.

Rebels seeking to topple Col Gaddafi are making their first high-profile diplomatic appearance and will meet the newly formed "contact group" on Libya.

Giving the rebels military, political and financial support will all be discussed, as will Nato's role.

Ahead of the meeting, the French and British foreign ministers said Nato should be doing more in Libya.

Why don't we just bomb the whole of Tripolli?

Because that's ridiculous.

It would kill Gaddafi and his sons...

It was just a suggestion and think everybody knows that would let the rebels win, well they should if that happened.

Gaddafi will die at 21/12/12.

Because dimwit-ruled Libya will take over Free Libya.

Free Libya would have US backing and EU backing and other backing.

We can't defend a country from itself.

If it's fully divided into West and East, then if West invades East then we can help East.

Ireland? Are you crazy? They leave bombs at each others (republicans and Northern) they would just go into another place where this a bit of a war.

Move them to Yellow Stone.

They would then kill the animals there.

What about instead of all this hassle, we start World War 3.
We need to decrease the population anyway because soon we will not have enough supplies to keep 6 billion people alive.
