Earthquakes? Oh, yeah, that old news. I was only thinking of the recent disasters. The Rena Oil Spill, the Pike River Mine disaster and the Taranaki gas leak.

And anyway, you're trying to say that a normal accent is not saying your vowels properly?

You see, which accent is correct is up to interpretation. Americans beleive theirs is correct, Aussies theirs Kiwi's theirs. At the end of the day, we have adapted our accents to our suuroundings.

What pisses me off is that I have like half the accent of your average kiwi. Makes me feel left out

Well let's see. It's been going for three days. That is equal to $60mil on lost milk alone. Not to mentin the fixing operation, the townships, the cafes and resturants all losing money. And with several more days in sight, that is well more than the $75mil we gained through RWC.

No, no, no, no, no. They don't say most of their 't's' properly, along with some of the vowel. TBH, there is probably no accent, which is the perfect one.
